Now days it’s very easy to access any site from anywhere this is just because of Domain Name Server. It helps users to access any site on internet anywhere. On internet every computer has a specific address that address is a series of number, that address is called IP Address and IP stands for Internet Protocol. Every computer’s IP is different and difficult. So with the help of DNS we don’t need to remember IP, we only need to remember the address with the help of group of alphabetical letters like “Web Name”. So instead of typing an IP address “192.168.1.4″ we can use a name like “www.abc.com”. It’s like a memory aid and its helps us to memorize these types of address and it makes the site easier to find for visitors as well. This process is called Resolving the Domain Name, convert IP address into name. Now Internet user can log on to any website by entering only name of its domain this is the aim of DNS.
